This is such an amazing moment at Holbrook. These twins were FEARFUL of dogs before starting school. Before school started this past fall the family had emailed the classroom teacher, principal, counselor and myself to make a plan for what to do if they refused to come into the school. Slowly over time they were willing to be in the hallway with him, then slowly began touching him, and now they were walking him to their classroom for a class visit.
Diesel is the most popular staff member by far! Children smile when he walks in a room. Children look up and greet him. He gets daily hugs, pats, and smiles. Our school is so lucky to have this silly boy as a part of our school community.
